Laura Fargas

Laura Fargas was born in Berkeley and was educated at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Iowa Writer’s Workshop. For 27 years, she worked for the federal government, specializing in occupational safety and health litigation. Her publications include Reflecting What Light We Can’t Absorb (Riverstone Press, 1993) and An Animal of the Sixth Day (Texas Tech University Press, 1996)
